About Sarah
Traditional Japanese Medicine is a diverse and dynamic form of medicine.
Sarah's Practice reflects this principle, treating patients of all ages and conditions. From maintaining wellbeing to the treatment of chronic conditions, Sarah approaches the health of her patients with care and diligence. Sarah especially enjoys the range of patients and conditions that appear in practice and loves working with people in all stages of life and wellness.
Sarah began studying East Asian Medicine in 2011 with a Diploma of Shiatsu. After this initial training Sarah completed postgraduate study in Japanese Needle Therapy and Acupuncture Protocols. Other areas of specialty include paediatrics, women's health, moxibustion, pregnancy and postpartum care.
As a practitioner, Sarah is especially interested in the fluid and changing nature of health; health as the ability of the body to adapt and change to the demands of both the external and internal environments of the individual. With all treatments, Sarah takes a patient-focused and gentle approach to wellness, of which the patient plays an active role.
